The owner wasn’t happy with the old gable on the front of the house, so they attached a photo and asked if the alteration could be done. Naturally, this challenge was no problem at all. We extended the roof outward and moved the gable closer to the wall. As you can see in the attached photo, the house now has a new, more elegant and attractive look. And not to forget, the living room now gets much more light.
Not every roof pitch is suitable for roof tiles. If the slope is too shallow, rainwater flows off more slowly, and during heavy rainfall the large volume of water cannot drain away quickly enough. We recently renovated an old, neglected balcony in May. The railing was dangerously loose in parts, and the decking was unsafe to walk on.
The owner previously removed the old, rotten deck. I built a smaller, more beautiful deck in its place. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and a book.
